Description
Approved the import of a new GM insect-resistant soybean variety and renewed the import permit for a glufosinate-tolerant GM rapeseed variety.
Notes
The European Commission has approved the importation of new genetically-modified crops for processing and use in food and feed, including one new insect-resistant soybean variety. Moreover, the import permit for a glufosinate-tolerant GM rapeseed variety has been renewed. Any product developed from these imported events will be subject to the EUs labelling and traceability regulations.
