Description
Approved a three-year project to support the coconut sector in Kerala State. The project is aimed at reviving coconut farming by supporting growers with scientific protocols for value addition and processing.

In Kerala State, the coconut sector will receive support from a three-year project worth INR 247 million (USD 3.5 million). Funded jointly by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research and Keralas Government, the project is aimed at reviving coconut farming by supporting farmers with scientific protocols for value addition and processing. Project implementation has been entrusted to the Kerala Agriculture University.
