Markedly lowered the Governments annual target for assisting smallholders in replacing aged oil palms with more performant varieties, citing difficulties faced by small growers in proving their eligibility for participating in the nationwide scheme. The Governments replanting programme is aimed at enhancing productivity on existing estates, while halting the expansion of plantations.
