Description
Signed an agreement with the United States, reviewing the functioning of the existing quota to import hormone-free beef into the EU. The agreement establishes that 35 000 tonnes of the non-hormone treated quota out of the total of 45 000 will be allocated to the US, phased over a 7-year period, with the remaining amount made available to all other exporters.
