Description
Revoked with a view to avoiding disruption of the countrys palm oil exports a regulation announced in 2018 that required exporters of palm oil to use exclusively Indonesia-flagged vessels for their shipments from May 2020 onwards.

INDONESIA export policy: With a view not to disrupt the countrys palm oil exports, the Indonesian Government decided to revoke rules that would require exporters of palm oil to use exclusively Indonesia-flagged vessels for their shipments. Based on announcements made in 2018, the requirement was due to come into force in May 2020 (see also MPPU May18).
