Description
Announced the gradual, nationwide introduction of mandatory front-of-package nutrition label requirements. As of 1 October 2020, food product labels would be required to include: i) warnings regarding nutritional content that could affect certain health conditions in the population; ii) cautionary legends; and iii) the prohibition of characters, graphics or pictures intended to promote consumption among children.
