Import quota
Description
Approved a shortage import quota of 50 012 tonnes of paddy in order to ensure sufficient supplies for consumption needs, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The volume will be subject to a 6.5 percent preferential duty and is to be imported by the National Rice Corporation (CONARROZ) by 31 December 2020.
