Lowered reserve prices for wheat sold under the Open Market Sale Scheme. Prices for fair average quality wheat decreased from INR 2 245 to INR 2 135 per quintal (USD 311 to USD 296 per tonne) and prices for lower quality wheat decreased to INR 2 080 per quintal (USD 288 per tonne).
