Description
Announced that it would temporarily suspend purchases of rice for the state reserve, after having bought sufficient volumes to meet its 50 000 tonne target. Amid plans to release state-owned supplies through retail shops, successive statements indicated that it intended to purchase a further 20 000 tonnes for the state reserve.
