Description
Following clearance by the European Food Safety Authority, approved rapeseed meal-based food ingredients for human consumption.

EUROPEAN UNION food standards (edible rapeseed meal): Following clearance by the European Food Safety Authority (see MPPU Sep20), rapeseed meal-based food ingredients have been approved for human consumption by the European Commission in December. According to industry sources, the new plant protein and fibre powder can be used as an ingredient in a variety of food applications and complies with numerous dietary claims.
