This is an international education project in partnership with the Sustainable Development Unit of FAO in Rome, international and local NGOs in Wales, Zanzibar, Italy, France, Chad, Senegal, Chile and Bolivia, funded by the European Union.

The workshop involved:

• presentation of recent research into Education and Curriculum development in Zanzibar through Civics,
• examples of education and training materials and sessions,
• development of a linking programme for 3 secondary schools in Zanzibar with 3 schools already identified in Wales.
