The EuFMD is proposing to establish a regional Group for Vaccination Advice, guidance, and consultation (GVA) composed of national experts in vaccinology (including immunology, vaccine manufacturing, evaluation of efficacy and effectiveness, and vaccination strategies).  

The activities of the group are proposed to be organized under various sub-networks (e.g. REMESA) and sub-regional agreements for mutual cooperation (e.g. Statement of Intention Agreement for improved control of FMD and similar TADs (“FAST”) in Transcaucasia and neighboring countries).  

The aim of the GVA is to assist countries from the region in the design and implementation of postvaccination monitoring (PVM) activities and act as a platform to exchange experience and expertise on vaccination for FAST diseases.
