The EuFMD has established an Emergency Preparedness network aimed at providing a forum for contingency planners of Member countries to interact, access to different resources and share good practices on contingency planning, emergency vaccination and disease modelling.

In the context of the Emergency Preparedness Network a group discussion is proposed between risk managers and contingency planners focused on strengths and weaknesses on the implementation of emergency vaccination for FMD and similar TADs in EuFMD Member countries.

The aim is to share good practices and identify the main constraints that will prevent an effective use of emergency vaccination.
