Launch of the Risk-Based Strategic Planning Open-Access course

30/03/2021 -
Online,

Our new online, open-access course will be available from the 30 March, on the vlearning site

The Introduction to Risk-Based Strategic Plan (RBSP) course is made up by six modules that should assist FMD endemic countries to progress on the PCP-FMD. The FAO, OIE and EuFMD FMD Working Group have contributed at a technical level, under the GF-TADs umbrella. This course is also part of the PCP-FMD Support Officer (PSO) training project, in combination with other virtual courses. For a country to progress to PCP-FMD Stage Two, the Veterinary Services must develop an RBSP that describes how the country intends to reduce the impact of FMD in at least one husbandry sector. The RBSP applies the outputs and knowledge gained through the implementation of the activities in PCP-FMD Stage One. An RBSP template has been developed by the GF-TADs FMD Working Group.
