The EuFMD is proposing to establish a regional Group for Vaccination Advice, guidance and consultation (GVA) composed by national experts in vaccinology (including immunology, vaccine manufacturing, evaluation of efficacy and effectiveness, and vaccination strategies).  

The aim of the GVA is to assist countries from the region in the design and implementation of post-vaccination monitoring activities and act as a platform to exchange experience and expertise on vaccination for FAST diseases. 

The EuFMD will be organizing the 1st meeting of the regional Group for Vaccination Advice, guidance, and consultation (GVA) for FAST diseases: Designation of the core group in the South East European Neighbourhood (SEEN) countries, which will be held virtually on 18 May 2021 at 12:00 PM CEST (Rome time).

The objectives of the meeting are to:  

•Introduce the Group for Vaccination Advice, Guidance and Consultation (GVA) for FAST diseases;

•Establishment of the core group for GVA in the SEEN region;

•Review the vaccination strategies and vaccines used in the SEEN region;

•Share information on the available results of the recent serosurveillance studies, immunogenicity studies, and post-vaccination monitoring studies.
