The Uganda National Consultation Meeting for the Project Sustainable Business in Animal Health Service Provision through Training for Veterinary Paraprofessionals will be held virtually on Zoom platform on the 7 July 2021 at 10:00AM Uganda time 09:00AM CEST time.

This project is implemented by FAO-EuFMD in collaboration with our partners World Veterinary Association and HealthforAnimals. 

The project aims to reinforce veterinary service provision systems through improved capacity of veterinary paraprofessionals (VPPs) to deliver animal health services and addressing the key challenges propagating veterinary paraprofessionals business instability. This approach aims to develop a model for sustainable veterinary paraprofessionals in which competency acquisition and retention is a gateway to recognition in addition to increased access to quality veterinary medical products and to new business opportunities in the “last mile” delivery of quality-assured animal health services.
