Specific Objectives of the national consultation are to:

• Present the project to key stakeholders at the national level;
• Discuss priorities for a continuous professional development program for the professionalization of veterinary paraprofessionals (VPPs) in South Africa;
• Gain insights from the stakeholders with regards to their interest in the project and willingness to contribute to a multistakeholder platform.
