As a part of the EuFMD workplan 2019-2023 to enhance co-ordination with GF-TADs partners, international agencies, and improve implementation of strategic plans for FAST control at the national and regional level, the EuFMD organized a Virtual Coordination meeting between EuFMD and sub-regional offices of FAO and OIE in North Africa, aiming at improving the harmonization of the activities implemented in the region. 

The meeting has the objectives to:  

• update each other on the past, ongoing and planned main activities in the Middle East region on FAST diseases (FMD and similar transboundary animal diseases); 
• identify activities of common interest and potential synergies.
