Following the last meeting of the Group for Vaccination Advice, Guidance and Consultation (GVA) for Foot-and-Mouth And Similar Transboundary animal diseases (FAST) in North Africa held in January 2022, and its conclusions in focusing the next meeting on FAST diseases in order to discuss and present the recommendations of the core group of experts, the EuFMD is organizing a third GVA meeting in North Africa which will be held on 20 April 2022. 

The objectives of the meeting are to: 

• Allow participating countries to present their current situations and strategies in terms of FAST diseases; 
• Allow participating countries to present an update on vaccination and post-vaccination monitoring for FAST diseases;
• Allow the GCV chairman to present the recommendations and orientations formulated by the core group experts in terms of vaccination and post-vaccination follow-up for FAST diseases;
• Facilitate the discussion for a regional approach.
