Following the first virtual workshop which was held in January 2022, the EuFMD is organizing a follow-up workshop on “Potential public-private partnerships applied to the export of live animals and animal products from Sudan”. This workshop will be held online on 30-31 May 2022 with a specific focus on surveillance activities to strengthen livestock export.
It will aim at designing and defining the components of the pilot project of public-private partnerships applied to the export of live animals and animal products from Sudan through strengthening the surveillance activities.
The objectives of the online workshop are to:
- define goals, objectives, and expected outcomes of the pilot project;
- identify challenges with the current surveillance program and how this PPP could resolve the challenges;
- identify the available and required resources to achieve the objective;
- define the activities and components of the pilot project;
- define the roles of responsibilities of each partner;
- plan for actions and next steps.
