The purpose of this proposed sub-regional consultation meeting is to enhance the coordination among three countries( Israel, Jordan, and Palestine) and discuss efforts and interventions against the outbreaks. 

The objectives are to: 

• Discuss policies and levels of preparedness and response to the current FMD outbreaks, especially FMD vaccine and vaccination challenges;
• Establish a coordination mechanism at the sub-regional level, particularly for sharing technical information;
• Agree on next steps to be implemented on this topic in the sub-region.
