Special Committee on Biorisk Management

The SCBRM provides assistance for the development and revision of laboratory biocontainment guidance documents for FMD and similar TADs, with particular reference to the Minimum Biorisk Management Standards for FMD laboratories. It provides guidance on training initiatives, maintains an overview of development in biocontainment and it supports the needs of the FMD Biorisk management community maintaining a channel of communication with experts in Member Nations who have FMDV Biorisk management responsibilities.
