FAO at Stockholm+50

Hybrid Event, 02/06/2022 - 03/06/2022

Today there is less food security, less health security, less economic security and greater inequality.

By recognizing the importance of multilateralism in tackling the multiple crises facing today’s world. Stockholm+50 will act as a springboard to accelerate the implementation of the UN Decade of Action to deliver the Sustainable Development Goals, Paris Agreement on climate change, the post-2020 global Biodiversity Framework, and encourage the adoption of green post-COVID-19 recovery plans.

FAO is leading and co-leading a number of events as a key partner on environmental issues related to agrifood systems. Three Leadership Dialogue background papers which have shaped the conference’s agenda reveal the key role of agrifood systems in addressing the multiple crises our world is facing.
