Sub-focus Area 3.1.4 Strengthening participation and inclusion of indigenous peoples and local communities in food systems

Recommendation Number: 3.1.4.b

Governments and relevant stakeholders should support capacity building and strengthen capacities including those of indigenous peoples and local communities so that they can fully and effectively participate in formulating policies and strategies regarding food systems.

The identified documents have been grouped into four categories: UN evidence-informed documents, UN normative guidance documents, UN operational/technical guidance documents and other documents that have been published by non-UN bodies.
