We invite you all to join us on a virtual trip to the 7th Annual West African Farmers' Seed Fair organised by the West African Committee for Farmers' Seeds (COASP) in Zoungbonou, Benin, from 9 to 11 March 2023.  The seed fair brought together farmers, CSOs, government officials, academics and media from West and East Africa to promote farmer-managed seed systems and to protect against the entry of GMOs into the continent's food systems.
With 75 exhibitors from 25 countries, visitors were able to see a range of community-grown seeds and participate in workshops focusing on delicious African cuisine using indigenous crops, agroecological biodiversity and the threats posed by GMOs in Africa.
