This was an interactive zoom discussion between youth and guest experts. We had the Key note speech from the Policy and advocacy officer from Bio-vision Foundation who unpacked how Agroecology can fix our food systems. We also had a representative from the ministry of Agriculture, a representative from Local government and representative from Civil Society Organizations; all these sharing on how youth in Agro-ecology can be supported and the available opportunities. Youth from diverse regions and sectors of Uganda were able to share their valuable insights and policy suggestions for transforming the country's agrifood system. this was a great opportunity for the youth to be part of a meaningful dialogue and collaboration among youth, policymakers, and agrifood system stakeholders.
