Before submitting the project, Agroserv Ltd  - from SLOVAKIA, had 2 466 hectares of agricultural land at its disposal, but nevertheless, its capacities were not fully used: the machines and the technologies used were obsolete, whereas the company did not have the capacity to  manage efficiently animal production and the wide range of available natural resources. Consequently, it was decided for the company to undergo a considerable farm restructuration and modernization process, in order to benefit fully of its potential and of the potential of the area. The project targeted the increase of the agricultural unit’s competitiveness by the optimal use of the production factors and by the application of new technologies and innovations. The activities of the project required structural and technological investments at two farms, aiming to rebuild the stables for cows, to modernize the areas for storage and to purchase equipment for the  vegetal production. 18 new machines were purchased, including a sprayer, two distributors two mowers, a feed wagon mixer, a cutting machine and a tractor.
