Inclusion of Herding Households in the Food Value Chain of Mongolia

Mongolia is a country of nomadic people located in Central Asia, landlocked between Russia and China. Pastoral livestock has been a major source of livelihoods since ancient times and this sector still plays an important role for producing food for people. The Government of Mongolia and private organizations are realizing the importance of herding households in the food and industry value chains in Mongolia, where the chain start.
