Open farm days are taking place a few time per year thanks to the members of Association of Private Farming of the Czech Republic. These farmers open their farms to vide public  with on-farm activities  - like a farm schools , cooking workshops , horse riding etc. which provide closer contacts with public and enhance consumers´connection with farming, food and rural areas. This successful initiative enables consumers , especially the young, to discoveer delicious new recipes and healthy lifestyle . It shows the good farming and welfare practices our farmers meet. It also highlights the benefit to society what is added benefit of family farmers as for example preserving of rural countryside and enviroment.
