This document is a Synthesis report on the status of the progress made towards the implementation of the UNDFF at national and regional levels, including the identification of key mechanisms/processes used for the definition and implementation of the NAPs. The report contains a comparison of the progress made in 2019-2020-2021 and provides an updated (December 2021) overview on the status of elaboration and implementation of national, regional, and sub-regional action plans. It also contains case studies of methodologies tools and mechanisms/ processes used for the definition and implementation of the action plans. And finally, it includes a series of conclusions and recommendations
