The OBSALIM Method: Feeding Evaluation on ruminants
The French veterinarian Bruno Giboudeau, together with farmers, has developed the Obsalim method. The word derives from the French "Observations alimentaires" and means "feeding observations". This method enables farmers or advisors to observe symptoms in a dairy herd in a relatively short period of time and to make an analysis of the feeding based on the symptoms. In this video, Bruno Giboudeau uses a concrete example to show how the method works. The video was realised on the first practitioners' day " all about cattle" at the Rengoldshausen farm near Überlingen/DE as part of the EU project NEFERTITI.
