Vegetable growing, a profitable business in Suceava

As professional car mechanic, Vasile Mătrășoaie worked in the former Suceava car repair enterprise, and after work, he took pleasure in growing vegetables. He was even selling to his colleagues the seeds he was planting in order to make some money. This was his beginning in a field in which he became an example for the other vegetable growers. On his lands he cultivates from green salad and reddish to tomatoes and peppers to purple potatoes and Chinese zucchini. But, in order to succeed, passion and sustained work are necessary. Two years ago, he started doing ecological agriculture at a few kilometres from the village, where he built a greenhouse. In it he plants vegetables without using fertilizers, insecticides or pesticides. In order to replace them, he has his own solutions, which are, of course, natural. “Wormwood tea is the best for the plants”, said Vasile Mătrășoaie, who warns us that if we do not know the correct concentration, you can burn the plants and cause much damage than good. And because all must be natural, he uses a chilli-based solution against insects and walnut leaves mixed with stinging nettle against mildew.
