Africa has the world's youngest population, with an estimated 420 million young people aged 15 to 35. That's a lot of young individuals entering the labor force who are looking for work. Agriculture might meet this demand, but it is generally perceived by young people as filthy, labor-intensive employment with little return. This article discusses strategies to get more young people involved in Africa's agri-food systems.
