Regional Knowledge Platform on One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) in Asia and the Pacific

Countries in the Asia-Pacific region have rich experience in Special Agricultural Products (SAPs) development and expressed strong desire to share knowledge on SAPs development. Responding to the request of Member States in the region, hosted by FAO's Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, the OCOP Regional Knowledge Platform aims to promote technical and institutional innovations that strengthen the sustainable development of SAPs. Through knowledge sharing on best practices and innovations such as Geographical Indications (GI), One Village One Products (OVOP) and other approaches, the Regional Platform on OCOP will prepare the sector to take advantage of, and shape the new opportunities presented by agri-food systems transformation.

The Regional Knowledge Platform is intended for a wide range of users, from Governments to private sector, from international organizations to academia and civil society, all of which need access to qualified knowledge on SAPs. The Regional Knowledge Platform also welcomes contributions of all interested stakeholders who are willing to share their materials for knowledge sharing.
