Rice is highly nutritious, however a lot of its quality is lost during processing. This results in poor quality rice on the market. Therefore, consumers turn to imported rice. In this video you will learn about parboiling, a way to improve rice quality by treating paddy with warm water and steam. There are many good reasons for parboiling rice.
