Jeni Dumbravă has been working in agriculture since 1970, when she was an economist for CAP, a vegetable growing farm in Poarta Albă. „The people never respected the office hours since in agriculture one cannot work according to a fixed schedule. Even then, during communism, people loved the work compared to the youngsters today who during the interview ask about the salary and work schedule first. There is no fixed schedule in agriculture. We do not see things this way. We wish to do our jobs with love. I have been working in agriculture my entire life and how much I gained or how many hours I worked was never a question for me. I would stay until morning, if necessary”, stated Jeni Dumbravă.
