Considering the importance of the sector of agriculture in arid lands and its impact on the socio-economic development of the country, this event is inscribed within the scientific meetings that treat the various issues of agricultural development, it has the following objectives : 
(a) Collection and sharing of the recent researches results on agriculture in arid lands. 
(b) Development and visualization of solutions to the constraints and prospects of the agriculture in arid lands. 
(c) Promoting in the field Research-Development the young researchers and postgraduate students.
