Migrant Farmworkers Face Heightened Vulnerabilities During COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically reshaped Canadian society in just a few short weeks. At the same time, its varied impacts shine a light on pre-existing social inequities. Certain populations, including low wage workers, racial minorities, homeless people, and older and disabled residents of long-term care facilities have been disproportionately impacted.
