AGROSAVIA is a Scientific nonprofit Colombian public organization working in the Agriculture & Livestock sectors that contributes to technical change, with the aim of improving productivity and competitiveness of national agriculture, through processes of research and knowledge transfer, linking small producers to technological innovation. Our annual budget is US $70 million (70% from Colombian government and 30% from national and international funders). Our board is formed by public, private, academic institutions.

Our Mission is transforming the agricultural sector in a sustainable way through knowledge to improve the farmers and consumer´s life. We work with productive chains within the framework of the Innovation Networks.

AGROSAVIA strategically manages seven key innovation networks in the general fields of vegetables, fruits, permanent crops, short term season crops, roots and tubers, cacao, and livestock.
