An intercountry workshop on “Enhancing Participation for Codex Activities” is taking place from 24–28 June 2024 in Mumbai, India, for government officials from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Timor-Leste. Sri Lanka has embarked on a capacity building exercise to contribute to and utilize Codex standards for improving the health of its consumers and better market access.
