JECFA has its work cut out for it

The Codex Committee on Food Additives, gathered for its 51st session in Jinan, China, agreed on 27 March on the priority list of substances for Joint FAO/WHO Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) to evaluate. Bordeaux meeting a “laboratory of innovation” serving the entire Codex system

Following 10 years’ service to the Codex Committee on Fats and Oils as chairperson and after nearly 40 years working on Codex in the Malaysian Ministry of Health, Noraini Dato’ Mohd Othman used her closing remarks at CCFO26 in Kuala Lumpur to announce her retirement. Kazakhstan pushes to enhance regional potential

The Codex European region comprises 52 countries with widely diverse economic, historic and climatic backgrounds as well as differing levels of experience in engaging with Codex.
