The European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) project Catalyzing Scientific Innovation into Food Safety Action (CATALYSE) is to hold a World Food Safety Day webinar this year, under the title “Driving Food Safety Innovations Across Europe.”

The event will be held in collaboration with the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI) Europe and Universidade Catolica Portuguesa and will explore the needs and priorities for food safety innovations within the six critical areas identified by the ‘innovation platform’ Flanders' Food.

CATALYSE is a European Union Horizon project. The project aims to promote the implementation of new innovative solutions concerning food safety to solve the “real needs” of end-users in the food supply chain.
