Consumer advocacy in Nigeria to focus on mycotoxins for World Food Safety Day
Nigeria’s Consumer Advocacy for Food Safety and Nutrition Initiative (CAFSANI) will hold a World Food Safety Day webinar on the subject of “mycotoxins and pesticide residues in some selected Nigerian crops ad products”.
The event will take place on Monday 6 June and will be hosted and moderated by Olugbenga Ogunmoyela, President and CEO of CAFSANI. Joining him will be:
- John O. lgene from the Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology and Professor of Research and Innovation at the University of Benin (UNIBEN)
- Adewale O. Obadina, Professor of Food Safety and Biotechnology, at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)
- Emmanuel E. Odion, Senior lecturer at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, UNIBEN
