Agriculture feminisation is considered to be the major obstacle to agriculture development in Nepal. However, if we take it as an opportunity and invest in women’s productive and adaptive capacity, this will change. In order to improve farm production and cope with climate change, it is essential to empower women with knowledge and skills and enhance their access to agriculture services and resources. Climate Field School (CFS) in Nawathana, Achham in far western Nepal are a clear example of how women farmers  have learnt about climate resilient practices. They can analyse the impact of climate change on their local farming system and learn and share knowledge about climate resilient varieties, technologies and practices.
