Catla - Nutritional deficiencies

Dietary deficiency symptom of some essential amino acid and fatty acids have presented in Table 17. Very little is known about vitamin and mineral deficiency symptoms in Catla catla (Table 17 and Table 18). Vitamin C deficiency have been reported to result in scoliosis and lordosis in catla (Table 18) and vitamin E deficiency symptom have not been observed in catla (Sinha and Sinha, 1994).
