| ABSTRACT |
| The final formal report of the First Session of the Committee for Inland Fisheries of Africa (CIFA), Sub-Committee for the Development and Management of the Fisheries of Lake Victoria, held in Mwanza, Tanzania, from 12 to 14 October 1981, is presented. Major topics were a review of the status of the fisheries of Lake Victoria, main fisheries development and management issues and a future action programme to support the development and management of the fisheries of Lake Victoria. |
