A photobioreactor is an intensive, compact system to produce dense cultures of microalgae, which can be in turn used for as aquaculture feed, to innoculate greenwater culture, and for lipid extraction. Powerful lights and carbon dioxide fertiliztion are used to increase the density of the microalgae, along with precise formulas of nutrients.
