The ECE/FAO Team of Specialists on Forest Communication - Forest Communicators' Network (FCN) - annual meeting and workshop and the WoodCircle Communication Meeting will take place in person in Vienna, kindly supported and hosted by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions and Water Management in collaboration with the International Union of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO).

• Day one will feature sessions focused on national and global campaigns for the promotion of sustainable wood led jointly with Austrian WoodCircle Communication.
• Day two will include a training session on how to best make use of AI tools to communicate forest issues, including trends and data related to forests and forest products, and visits to state-of-the-art wooden architecture in Vienna.
• Day three features lightning talks presenting best practices for forest communication. Please send any proposals for lightning talks on best practices on communication to [email protected]. These five-minute informal presentations provide an opportunity to showcase your communication work and inform participants on effective approaches. In addition, effective communication tactics to reach policymakers will be discussed, which will include findings from the 2024 Annual Meeting of the Regional Forest Communicators Networks’ Global Coordination Group.
