This side event will take place from 13.30 to 15.00 in the Iran Rm on 26th April during the 156th session of the FAO Council. Countries are now embarking on the implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions. What does this mean for the agriculture sectors? How do countries adapt their policies and adopt ‘climate-smart’ approaches to agriculture? What can we learn from countries that have championed CSA implementation?  These are some of the questions that the side events wants to address. It will also be an opportunity to inform participants about FAO’s on-going work to update and enhance the Climate Smart Agriculture Sourcebook.
