ECOWAS reporting progress of the West Africa CSA Alliance at the COP22 Action Day on Agriculture and Food Security

The West Africa CSA Alliance (WACSAA), established in June 2015, as been registered as an official agricultural initiative of the Lima-Paris Action Agenda (LPAA) during COP21, now called Global Climate Action Agenda (GCAA).

The Economic Community of West Africa States (ECOWAS) was invited to participate in the Action Day on Agriculture and Food Security at COP22 in Marrakesh, to report on the progress achieved by this initiative.

To this occasion, ECOWAS has developed a short progress report on the WACSAA initiative, available here.

FAO also developed a video showcasing the progress achieved by the agriculture initiatives of the GCAA from COP21 to COP22, including the WACSAA initiative, that has been displayed during the Agriculture and Food Security Action Day, available here (3’40 for WACSAA):
